Hi Everyone!I am in Washington State at Madelyn Van der Hoogt's "Weaving School". As always, Madelyn is gracious and has plenty of projects set up for us to weave. My primary purpose is finish setting up my drawloom this summer so I picking her brain. I did wind a 15 yard 20/2 cotton warp earlier this week and am now working on a system with Suzie Liles to make setting up the draw lashes on my loom in a more time efficient manner.
I am staying with Suzie Liles her husband, Bob. Their home is on the west side of Whidbey Island overlooking the Juan de Fuqua Straits. During the day, I can see the Olympic Mountain range. By night, Victoria is clearly visible on Vancouver Island.Check out the picture of the view!
